Child safety standards

• Any content or behaviour that sexually abuses or exploits children (CSAE) is prohibited in the TrashTrek app and on our channels, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexual harassment of children, grooming, sextortion and child trafficking.
• Posting photos in which children can be recognized is also prohibited. Photos of reports and cleanups must show litter and the location, not people.
• The app is intended for people aged 16 and over.

• A moderator reviews every report and cleanup before it is published. Content that is not about litter or breaks the rules is not published.
• The app has no private messages between users. Only the username, profile picture, short bio and posts are public.
• Users can report or block any post and any user directly in the app.

• In the app: tap "⋯" on a post or a user profile and choose "Report". These reports are handled with priority.
• By email: write to info@trashtrekapp.com with the subject "Child safety". Do not send or forward the material itself; just describe where you saw it (username, location, time).
• If a child is in immediate danger, call the police right away (112 or 113 in Slovenia, or your local emergency number).

• We remove content that breaks these standards as soon as we become aware of it and permanently suspend the author's account.
• We report child sexual abuse material and other suspected crimes to the competent authorities, in Slovenia the police, and where appropriate to international organizations such as NCMEC. We preserve the data the authorities need for an investigation and provide it to them in accordance with the law.
• We let the person who reported the content know that we have handled it, unless that would harm an investigation.

We comply with the child protection laws of the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union, including the Digital Services Act (DSA), and with the Google Play and App Store policies.
